Asian businesses, communities and cultural institutions thrive in Dallas. It's no surprise, because the metro has a half dozen well-organized Asian communities, and downtown Dallas boasts the largest collection of Asian Art in the states in the likes of the Crow Collection.
PR Firm Revel United, working with the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau (Dallas CVB), approached Stay Frank to redevelop DallasAsian.com as a hub for Asian Community & Tourism in Dallas. The result is DallasAsian 2.0.
Revel United provided Stay Frank with a sharp design, and Frank brought it to life with web applications that engage and foster community. Members of the Dallas CVB, cultural organizations and area businesses can submit community events or news items. This social functionality makes DallasAsian.com 2.0 much more valuable than the "brochure" travel site that it replaced.
As the hub of Asian travel and community in Dallas, Revel and the Dallas CVB know that DallasAsian.com needs to speak several languages to connect with its many target audiences. So Frank worked with Revel's translation firm to build four different versions of the site in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.

Frank's role on this project proved more technical than creative, but Frank pitched in to edit and search engine optimize (SEO) existing content to improve visibility in search engines. In its first two weeks, DallasAsian 2.0 reached its audience like never before, realizing a two-fold increase in traffic. With a new look, multi-language accessibility and social web apps, the new site is prepared to realize its role as the hub of all things Asian in Dallas.
